I finally think I perfected my berry smoothie! and for all the parents out there, it’s approved by my 1.5 year old, she wouldn’t stop drinking it and got very upset when it was gone 🙂
So what’s this magical recipe you ask? Very simple!
- 1 cup frozen mixed berries
- 1/2 cup strawberry yogurt
- 1/2 cup blueberry yogurt
- Put all ingredients in a blender
- Blend until smooth
- Makes about 6-8oz (or one small glass)
That’s it! Pretty basic huh? You can also make it your own by adding in veggies, rolled oats, etc. The reason I use frozen fruit instead of fresh is to eliminate the need for ice. Ice dilutes the taste and honestly, it’s way creamier and thicker without ice.
